Autobahn lords and shortwave kings join forces for high-end mobile audio

Though Apple gear is marked by an elegant, minimalist aesthetic, most third- party Made for iPod accessories either unsuccessfully attempt to replicate that signature look or appear to have been contrived by Soviet architects during Khrushchev’s reign. Not so the Porsche Design P’9121 by Etón, a six-pack-size portable sound system with AM/FM, XM, shortwave, and digital and analog audio input. The high fidelity and power of its three full-range 1.5-inch speakers, which double as dials, and three-inch subwoofer make for truly dynamic sound, with acoustics grounded by double-walled-aluminum construction.
