Few men know as much about chocolate as Mark Sciscenti, owner of Kakawa Chocolate House. Sciscenti details the history of chocolate and his quest to re-create ancient chocolate recipes in the article Aztec Nectar, from Go's August/September 2008 issue. We followed Outside's Go editor Kent Black when he visited Kakawa in June. Sciscenti was kind enough to allow us to film in the kitchen of his Santa Fe, New Mexico, shop while he whipped up a batch of his famous Mesoamerican drinking chocolate and explained how he became a chocolate historian as well as one of the country's finest chocolatiers.
